Citizens of 5 European countries and Malaysia are able to enter China without a visa and stay for up until 15 days
From December 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024, China offers visa-free travel to people holding passports from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia. This trial policy enables citizens of the above countries to enter China without a visa for business, tourism, family visit and transit purposes, and to stay up to 15 days.
China resumes 15-day visa-free travel for citizens of Singapore and Brunei
From July 26, 2023 citizens of Singapore and Brunei holding passports will be able to enter China without a visa for 15 days for business, tourism, family visits and transit.
For citizens of other countries, visas are still required to enter mainland China.

Latest News: Chinese embassies abroad temporarily reduce visa fees
From Dec. 11, 2023 to Dec. 31, 2024, Chinese embassies and consulates abroad will implement a temporary measure, reducing visa fees to 75 percent of the current rates, according to a statement published by the Chinese Foreign Ministry. After the decision of managing COVID-19 as a Class B infectious disease on Jan. 8, 2023, the Chinese government has continued to optimize visa and entry policies for foreigners to promote people-to-people exchanges.
